A strategic document for strengthening the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education based on humanism, innovation, and sustainability
A. Introduction
The Research and Community Service Roadmap of the Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) for the period 2025–2030 is formulated as a strategic guideline for the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, particularly in the areas of research and community service. This document is developed in alignment with the vision and mission of the Faculty of Psychology, UNY.
Through this roadmap, the Faculty of Psychology, UNY is committed to producing relevant, innovative, and impactful research, as well as implementing community service programs that contribute tangibly to societal well-being at the local, national, and international levels.
This document is structured into two main components: (1) the foundational references for roadmap development, and (2) the Research Roadmap and the Community Service Roadmap for the 2025–2030 period.
The roadmap integrates research → product development → community service, in accordance with the vision and mission of both the university and the faculty, thereby ensuring the realization of the Faculty of Psychology, UNY’s vision as an institution that is excellent, creative, innovative, sustainable, humanism-based, and oriented toward the well-being of individuals and society.
B. Faculty Community Service Vision
The Community Service Vision of the Faculty of Psychology, UNY:
To conduct community service activities focused on the development of superior, creative, and innovative character in a sustainable manner, grounded in humanistic values, to promote the well-being of individuals and society.

E. Conclusion and Implementation Recommendations
- Development of detailed roadmaps by each disciplinary group
- Enhancement of faculty and student capacity in research and community service

- Regular evaluation of roadmap implementation and outcomes
- Strengthening faculty resources, including laboratories and psychology service units
- Increasing the dissemination of research outputs and community service documentation in scientific and popular media
- Establishing strategic partnerships with government agencies and industry
Through the implementation of this roadmap, the Faculty of Psychology, UNY is expected to further strengthen its role in advancing psychological science, improving educational quality, and enhancing individual and societal well-being in a sustainable manner at the local, national, and international levels.
