Yogyakarta, 30 January 2026 — The Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) held the January 2026 Graduation Adjudication (Yudisium) on Thursday (30/1) at Abdullah Sigit Hall, Faculty of Education (FIP) UNY. This academic event marked an important milestone signifying the completion of students’ academic studies at the Undergraduate (Bachelor’s) Program in Psychology and the Graduate (Master’s) Program in Psychology.
A total of 29 students participated in the adjudication, consisting of 6 students from the Undergraduate Program in Psychology and 23 students from the Master’s Program in Psychology. All participants were declared to have fulfilled the required academic and administrative requirements and are scheduled to take part in the UNY Graduation Ceremony for the February 2026 period.
The adjudication ceremony commenced with the singing of the Indonesian National Anthem and the UNY Hymn as a form of respect for the nation and the institution. The event then continued with the reading of the Dean’s Decree of the Faculty of Psychology UNY regarding the official determination of graduates.
Entering the main agenda, the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, Alumni, Research, and Cooperation of the Faculty of Psychology UNY, Dr. Suwarjo, M.Si., delivered the Graduation Adjudication Report. In his report, he presented detailed information on the number of adjudicated students from each study program, students’ academic achievements, as well as an overview of the length of study undertaken by graduates during their academic journey at the Faculty of Psychology UNY.
Furthermore, Dr. Suwarjo expressed his appreciation for students who successfully achieved the cum laude distinction, both at the undergraduate and graduate levels. These achievements reflect students’ consistency, discipline, and strong commitment throughout the academic learning process.
Following the presentation of the adjudication report, the event continued with remarks from the Dean of the Faculty of Psychology UNY, Dr. Siti Rohmah Nurhayati, M.Si. In her address, the Dean conveyed her congratulations to all adjudicated students on the successful completion of their studies and on attaining graduate status from the Faculty of Psychology UNY.
The Dean emphasized that the academic accomplishments achieved by graduates should be accompanied by moral responsibility and professional integrity in the application of psychological knowledge within society. Graduates are expected to uphold academic ethics, maintain professional standards, and actively contribute across various fields, whether as academics, practitioners, or contributors to psychological well-being in the community.
The series of activities continued with the formal conferment of the Graduation Adjudication Decree to all participants as an official symbol of graduation. The event was then followed by a prayer session, expressing gratitude and hope for the graduates’ continued success in their future endeavors.
The January 2026 Graduation Adjudication of the Faculty of Psychology UNY concluded with a group photo session involving faculty leaders and adjudicated students, marking the end of one academic phase and the beginning of a new chapter for graduates as they enter the professional world and community service.
