Aceh Tamiang, January 2026 – The floods that struck Aceh Tamiang Regency some time ago not only caused physical damage but also affected the psychological well-being of the community, particularly children. In response to this situation, students from the Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY), who participated in the 2026 Humanitarian Community Service Program (KKN Kemanusiaan UNY), contributed to psychosocial recovery efforts for students affected by the disaster at SDN Medang Ara, Kebun Medang Ara Village, Karang Baru District, Aceh Tamiang Regency.

Aceh Tamiang – Students from the Faculty of Psychology at Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) participating in the Aceh Humanitarian Community Service Program (KKN Kemanusiaan Aceh) conducted psychosocial assistance activities for children affected by flooding in Kebun Tanah Terban, Karangbaru District, Aceh Tamiang Regency. The program, which took place from January 10 to February 10, 2026, was part of a collaborative initiative between UNY and Universitas Samudra (UNSAM) aimed at supporting community recovery after the disaster.

Aceh Tamiang, January 20, 2026 – Students from the Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY), participating in the Humanitarian Community Service Program (KKN Kemanusiaan), collaborated with students from Universitas Samudra (UNSAM) to conduct a community outreach activity titled “One Line Stops It: Breaking the Cycle of Domestic Violence and Healing Family Trauma.” The activity was held at the Posyandu Plus of Bukit Panjang Village, Karang Baru District, Aceh Tamiang Regency.

Yogyakarta, March 5, 2026 – The Faculty of Psychology at Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) organized a Spiritual Character Strengthening in the Spirit of Ramadan Togetherness 2026 event on Thursday (March 5, 2026) at the Pendopo of Al Qalam Mosque, Faculty of Education (FIP) UNY. The event, which began at 4:30 PM WIB, was attended by members of the academic community of the Faculty of Psychology, including lecturers, administrative staff, and student representatives from BEM Faculty of Psychology UNY and various Student Activity Units (UKM) within the Faculty of Psychology.
