Faculty of Psychology UNY Holds Career Guidance #1: “Steps to Success Towards Your Dream Career”

The Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY), successfully organized Career Guidance #1 with the theme “Steps to Success Towards Your Dream Career: Know Yourself, Prepare Your Strategy” on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at the Main Meeting Room, 3rd Floor, Moh. Amien Building, Faculty of Education UNY.

The event was attended by undergraduate (S1) and postgraduate (S2) students of the Faculty of Psychology and featured two distinguished speakers: 1) Nanda Arisa Luthfi, S.Psi., CAAC, an alumna of UNY Psychology, who delivered a session on Personal Branding, and 2) Iftitah Intikhobah, M.Psi., Psychologist, Project Manager at the Engineering Career Center, who shared insights on Curriculum Vitae (CV) writing and job interview preparation.

The program began with the singing of the Indonesian national anthem Indonesia Raya and the UNY Hymn, followed by an opening address from the Vice Dean for Academic, Student Affairs, and Alumni (AKARK), Dr. Suwarjo, M.Si. The session continued with the presentation of appreciation certificates to the speakers and concluded with a group photo session.

The main sessions commenced with Nanda Arisa Luthfi, S.Psi., CAAC, emphasizing the significance of self-identity and professional image in building a successful career. This was followed by Iftitah Intikhobah, M.Psi., Psychologist, who provided practical strategies for preparing a competitive CV and mastering job interview techniques, equipping students with essential skills to enter the professional world.

Through this event, participants gained valuable knowledge and strategies for career development while aligning their academic preparation with professional demands. The Faculty of Psychology UNY hopes that this series of Career Guidance programs will serve as a meaningful platform to support students in achieving their dream careers.
