The Student Creativity Program – Social Humanities Research (PKM-RSH) team, consisting of students from the Science Education, Statistics, Javanese Language Education, and Psychology programs at Yogyakarta State University (UNY), has successfully received funding from the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology in 2025. Their project centers on the theme of self-awareness among Generation Z and the preservation of Javanese philosophy through Virtual Reality (VR) in the Special Region of Yogyakarta.

Yogyakarta, October 15, 2025 — The Master of Psychology Program at Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) organized a public lecture titled “Current Research Issues in Positive Psychology” at the Imam Barnadib Hall, UNY Graduate School. The event featured Dr. Nurlaila Effendy, M.Psi., Psychologist, Chair of the Indonesian Positive Psychology Association (AP2I) and lecturer at the Faculty of Psychology, Widya Mandala Catholic University Surabaya, as the keynote speaker.

The Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY), organized a Visiting Professor Lecture featuring two distinguished scholars from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). The public lecture was held for graduate students of the Master of Psychology Program on September 18, 2025, at the Seminar Room, 7th Floor, Imam Barnadib Building, UNY, from 09.00 to 11.30 AM (WIB).

The Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY), organized a guest lecture featuring Associate Professor Dr. Hazalizah binti Hamzah, Head of the Department of Psychology and Counseling, Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI), Malaysia.

The program was attended by undergraduate psychology students from the 2023 and 2024 cohorts and was held in the Main Assembly Hall, UNY, on September 17, 2025. The lecture was conducted in two sessions:
