The Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY), held a Parent Gathering for the Class of 2025 on Saturday, September 27, 2025. The event took place online via the Zoom platform, starting at 9:00 AM until completion. The program was opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Psychology, followed by presentations from the Vice Dean for Academic, Research, and Student Affairs (AKARK), and the Vice Dean for Planning, Finance, Human Resources, and General Information (PKUSD-SIU). This gathering aimed to strengthen the relationship between the faculty and the parents/guardians of new students, while also providing a forum for dialogue regarding academic processes and services available at the Faculty of Psychology UNY. During the Q&A session, parents actively raised various questions, ranging from the mechanism for monitoring their children’s academic progress through the Parent PIN in the SIAKAD system, to other support services provided to ensure student success. Through this event, the Faculty of Psychology UNY hopes to foster positive synergy between the faculty, students, and parents/guardians, thereby creating a supportive educational ecosystem that enables students to develop their full potential.
