Overview of the Psychology Laboratory

The Psychology Laboratory is a service unit under the Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta, providing psychological services to the broader community, particularly for institutional needs.

In delivering its services, the Psychology Laboratory upholds the principles of accuracy, efficiency, professionalism, trustworthiness, and adherence to psychological ethics and standards.

To date, the Psychology Laboratory has been entrusted by various government and private institutions, across industrial and educational sectors, as a partner in conducting institutional-oriented psychological assessment services.

Main Duties

To manage and develop the laboratory as a center for learning, research, and innovation based on psychological sciences.

Functions

  • Providing psychological practicum facilities aligned with the development of psychological science.
  • Supporting research activities of lecturers and students based on community welfare needs.
  • Developing the laboratory as a center for innovation and academic product commercialization.
  • Ensuring standard operating procedures (SOP) based on continuous improvement in psychological science quality.
  • Managing laboratory resources effectively, efficiently, and sustainably.
