Main Duties

To develop, implement, and continuously evaluate the internal quality assurance system in order to achieve excellence in higher education standards.

Functions

• Formulating and developing policies and documents of the Internal Quality Assurance System (IQAS/SPMI).
• Implementing the PPEPP cycle (Establishment, Implementation, Evaluation, Control, and Improvement).
• Conducting periodic internal quality audits across all organizational units.
• Ensuring the achievement of national and international accreditation standards.
• Fostering a culture of quality within the higher education environment.
• Providing quality data and reports as a basis for strategic decision-making.

The Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY), is committed to maintaining and continuously enhancing the quality of its academic standards and institutional governance. Quality assurance is implemented through Internal Quality Audits (IQA) as well as periodic accreditation processes of study programs.

1. Internal Quality Audit (IQA) – Undergraduate Program

The Internal Quality Audit for the Undergraduate Psychology Program aims to evaluate the learning process, program management, and the achievement of academic standards. This activity is conducted regularly to support continuous quality improvement.

2. Internal Quality Audit (IQA) – Master’s Program

The Master’s Program in Psychology also undergoes periodic internal audits as a comprehensive evaluation of the quality of educational services and academic governance at the postgraduate level.

3. Accreditation of the Undergraduate Program

The Undergraduate Psychology Program has been accredited by BAN-PT. This accreditation signifies that the program meets the national standards for higher education provision.

4. Accreditation of the Master’s Program

The Master’s Program in Psychology at UNY has also been accredited, confirming that it meets national higher education quality standards and is officially recognized by the authorized accreditation body.
