UNY Psychology Faculty Expands Network through Cooperation Agreement with HIMPAUDI Bangka Belitung

Belitung, June 28, 2025 — The Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY), strengthened its strategic partnerships through the signing of a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) with the Regional Board of the Association of Early Childhood Educators and Education Personnel (HIMPAUDI) of Bangka Belitung Province on Saturday, June 28, 2025.

This agreement reflects the shared commitment of both institutions to support the implementation of the Three Pillars of Higher Education (Tridharma Perguruan Tinggi), which include education, research, and community service, by engaging both the undergraduate and graduate psychology programs at UNY. The scope of the collaboration covers human resource development, innovation in early childhood education, and the organization of joint programs that deliver a direct impact on society.

The agreement is valid for one year and can be extended thereafter. It serves as a legal foundation to strengthen the synergy between higher education institutions and professional organizations in order to:

Enhance the quality of early childhood education (ECE) services in Bangka Belitung;

Broaden access to training and mentoring programs based on developmental psychology;

Contribute meaningfully to improving the quality of inclusive basic education.

Through this collaboration, the Faculty of Psychology UNY reaffirms its role as an institution actively expanding its collaborative network and creating tangible impacts for society, particularly in advancing inclusive and high-quality early childhood education.
