Vision, Mission, and Objectives

In the development of the institution as part of higher education, the Faculty of Psychology, Yogyakarta State University, establishes its vision, mission, and goals. These are formulated as follows:

A. Vision

To become a leading higher education institution in the field of Psychology that is excellent, creative, and sustainably innovative, grounded in humanistic values and oriented toward character development.

B. Mission

  • To organize academic and professional psychology education that produces graduates who are excellent, creative, and innovative, realized in a sustainable manner, grounded in humanistic values, and oriented toward character development, thereby achieving global competitiveness.
  • To conduct and manage research as well as disseminate research findings, thereby generating novelty in the concepts and applications of psychology that contribute to societal advancement and well-being.
  • To conduct and manage community service activities and disseminate their outcomes in order to contribute to the realization of an empowered and prosperous society.
  • To foster strategic partnerships at the local, regional, and international levels to achieve mutual benefits.
