Yudisium of the Faculty of Psychology UNY April 2026: 12 Graduates Officially Complete Their Studies and Prepare for Professional Careers

Yogyakarta, April 15, 2026 – The Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY), held its April 2026 yudisium ceremony at the 3rd Floor Hall of Moh. Amien Building, Faculty of Education (FIP) UNY. A total of 12 students officially participated in the ceremony, consisting of 8 undergraduate (Bachelor’s) students and 4 graduate (Master’s) students. This event marked an important milestone, signifying the formal completion of their academic journey.

The yudisium ceremony serves not only as a formal academic event but also as institutional recognition of students’ achievements after completing all academic requirements. Although the ceremony was conducted in April, students who had registered in February and March were still officially recognized according to their respective graduation periods. This reflects the faculty’s commitment to maintaining flexible and student-oriented academic services.

The event proceeded in a solemn and orderly manner. It began with the reading of the Dean’s Decree, which formally confirmed the students’ graduation status. This was followed by a graduation report delivered by the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, outlining the number of graduates and their academic programs. The Dean of the Faculty of Psychology then delivered a speech expressing appreciation and encouragement to the graduates for their dedication and perseverance throughout their studies.

In the address, the Dean emphasized the importance of maintaining integrity, continuously developing competencies, and applying psychological knowledge professionally in society. Graduates are expected not only to excel academically but also to contribute meaningfully in addressing increasingly complex social challenges.

The ceremony continued with a closing prayer as a form of gratitude for the successful completion of the students’ academic journey. A sense of pride and emotion filled the room as participants took part in a group photo session, capturing a memorable milestone in their lives.

As part of preparing graduates for the professional world, the event also featured an inspiring career guidance session led by Rilis Asterina, M.Psi., Psychologist. The session provided valuable insights into career readiness, personal development, and strategies for entering the workforce. It is expected to serve as an initial foundation for graduates as they begin their professional paths, both within the field of psychology and beyond.

Through the implementation of this yudisium, the Faculty of Psychology UNY reaffirms its commitment to producing competent, high-quality, and competitive graduates. The alumni are expected to uphold the reputation of their alma mater and contribute positively to society, the nation, and beyond.

Congratulations to all graduates of the Faculty of Psychology UNY, April 2026 period. May the knowledge you have gained bring meaningful impact and serve as a strong foundation for a bright and successful future.
