Workshop on the Development of Psychological Services at the Faculty of Psychology UNY

On the same day, Saturday, February 20, 2026, at the Ballroom of Hotel UNY, the Faculty of Psychology UNY continued its strategic agenda with a Workshop on the Development of Psychological Services, held from 09:45 to 11:30 WIB.

The workshop was led by the Vice Dean for Planning, Finance, General Affairs, Resources, Information Systems, and Business, Dr. Rosita Endang Kusmaryani, M.Si., Psychologist. In her remarks, she emphasized the importance of establishing a structured and professional psychological service system that responds to societal needs while aligning with the advancement of psychological science. The session was further supported by Developmental Psychology lecturer, Patera Adwiko Priambodo, S.Psi., M.Psi., Psychologist, who highlighted the importance of integrating disciplinary expertise into the design of faculty-based psychological services.

Participants were divided into specialized teams: Industrial and Organizational Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Social Psychology, Clinical Psychology, and Educational Psychology. Each team discussed service models, target segments, service flow, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and potential external collaborations. The discussions were dynamic and focused on governance structures, service legality, and the integration of information systems to support administrative and documentation processes. The workshop also explored opportunities to develop a sustainable psychological service unit as part of the faculty’s community engagement and institutional strengthening efforts.

Through this initiative, the Faculty of Psychology UNY reaffirmed its commitment to delivering professional, science-based psychological services while enhancing its role as a center for psychological practice and development.
